Shana Rivera is a Financial Advisor at Mapstone | Veritas, where she has been helping individuals and families build confident, intentional financial plans since 2016. Shana brings a thoughtful, detail‑oriented approach to financial planning, grounded in the belief that clarity and education empower better decisions at every stage of life.
Shana’s path to becoming a financial advisor was a purposeful career change inspired by her own early experiences with financial planning. In her early 20s, she worked closely with her financial advisor—who was also her brother—to establish clear goals and a plan designed to adapt as life evolved. Through unexpected changes, that plan remained a steady guide, reinforcing for Shana the value of having a trusted advisor who listens, educates, and adjusts alongside you. Recognizing that not everyone has access to that level of guidance, she committed herself to providing clients with an experience that is both meaningful and empowering. Her greatest professional fulfillment comes from helping clients gain confidence and work toward lasting financial independence.
Working alongside her brother and business partner, David Stoller, Shana helps foster a welcoming, collaborative, and educational environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions and engaging fully in the planning process.
Shana is committed to ongoing professional development to better serve her clients. She earned her Wealth Management Certified Professional designation in 2024 and, as of January 1, 2026, holds a Tax Planning Certified Professional designation—further enhancing her ability to integrate tax‑aware strategies into comprehensive financial plans.
Originally from Webster, Shana now resides in Fairport with her husband, Philip, and their son, Aiden who is currently attending SUNY Geneseo studying finance. Outside the office, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and spending summers at her family’s cottages on Canandaigua Lake and Sodus Bay. A passionate home cook and baker, Shana is known for filling her kitchen on Sundays—and for sharing dozens of homemade cookies with clients, family, and friends during the holidays.
