TO PROTECT A LIFETIME OF WORK

 FINANCIAL PLANNING:

Together we work to provide financial planning services to both individuals and corporations through Equitable Advisors, LLC, a broker-dealer and investment advisor.  Fee-based Financial Planning services include a comprehensive assessment of one’s goals and current strategy.  Our professional’s approach to Financial Planning starts with a process of helping our clients establish their financial goals.  We then identify strategies that are designed to help them meet those goals.  Finally, when the financial planning process is completed we are able to implement the selected strategies and periodically monitor our client’s progress to measure performance against stated objectives.

Our financial planning process follows these five established step.

ESTATE PLANNING STRATEGIES:

Business owners, successful entrepreneurs and professionals who have accumulated significant assets may face a complex estate-planning situation.  To develop an effective transfer plan:

First, goals and objectives must be clearly defined and incorporated into a plan created to help achieve those goals.

Second, these goals and objectives must be carefully woven together with the numerous lifetime and business goals of our clients.

The Mapstone | Veritas Financial Group realizes that as our clients grow older their assets must be arranged to conserve their value.  Although minimizing estate taxes is usually the primary objective, we also examine early inheritance, spousal support and charitable and community goals.  We often create a comprehensive transfer plan that involves lifetime goals, life estates, trusts, gift and generation skipping transfer tax strategies and other mechanisms for creating tax leverage.

business STRATEGIES:

Our business clients realize they cannot, alone, meet the many challenges they face.  We free our clients to focus on their growth, day to day operations, and meeting their own customers’ expectations by delivering creative strategies in five main areas of concern shared by most successful business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Expansion:  Growing a business requires careful planning for capital formation.  Cash surplus should be invested wisely and the company should be protected against loss of resources, including key employees, in order to attract customers, prospective investors and creditors.
Recruiting & Retaining Quality Employees:  Attracting and retaining quality employees is often the best investment a business can make.  Group benefit programs, qualified retirement plans and creative executive compensation programs can be used effectively for maximum leverage.
Business Continuation/Succession:  Many owners don’t think about what would happen to their business and family if they became disabled, retired or if they died.  The results, if not considered and planned for, can be unsettling for the business, employees and your family.
Tax Advantages:  Tax advantages are available to you, as a business owner and executive.  The key is knowing what they are, how to use them, and how to balance them against your personal taxes.
Personal Benefits:  You and your key executives may not be getting an adequate share of your company’s benefit programs.  Supplemental programs can provide extra benefits for you and your key employees.
No two businesses are exactly alike.  The individual stamp you put on your business sets you apart and gives you a competitive edge.  Our business-planning professionals recognize this difference and provides customized strategies- tailored to your needs and priorities.
We can help you implement your plan and take care of the details.  We’ll be there throughout the process, providing information, answering questions and communicating with key employees and other advisors.  Finally, we’ll monitor your progress and adjust your plans so you stay on track with your long-term objectives.
