Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Heather Barniak began her career in the investment and financial services industry in 2012 after graduating from Alfred State College with a degree in Financial Planning. She started in the Retirement Benefits Group, focusing on retirement planning for nonprofit organizations and their employees. Heather has built a strong presence within local school districts and is passionate about helping individuals and families build, grow, and protect their wealth through a personalized and educational approach to financial planning. Specializing in maximizing and protecting NYS Pension benefits. She is supported by Stevie Medina-Collazo, Client Services Manager, who brings a strong background in financial services and is a Licensed Notary Public. Stevie is committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for every client. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her rescue cats. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking and spending time on the water. EDUCATION |
